The Middle School String Band came to Dillon Elementary to teach the students about their instruments!
How Can You Help Your Child With Homework?
We know parents want to help their children succeed in school, so we’ve come up with a few tips for you to help your child stay organized and do well on their homework.
Four Ways to Help Your Child with Homework
1- Let your child know that homework is valuable and important.
2- Set a regular time each day for homework, allowing some time to unwind after school.
3- Help your child get organized by providing folders for paper and a calendar and/or assignment book.
4- If homework problems arise, contact the teacher for clarification.

CAMS and CAHS eLibrary is Expanding!
C/A High School and Middle School are now participating in the Michigan eLibrary Catalog or MeLcat. This will allow our students and staff to borrow books, magazines, videos and audio books from over 400 public libraries and universities across the state and have them delivered to the school!

CAMS YouthQuest Focuses on STEM, Female Etiquette, and Congratulating Mr. Sutton!
The YouthQuest focus this week was on S.T.E.M. continued as students prepare for a trip to the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo next month and the robotics competition next week! Again this week, our art vendor spearheaded the effort of incorporating STEM into artistic masterpieces and expressions of self creativity. Students really enjoy drawing and it has been proven beneficial to allow them to explore art this month.
Also this week, we introduced a new segment for our females: Female etiquette. Personal development involves so much more than learning how to act and behave in certain social environments, and for our ladies, we want to instill in them the things they need to know to become productive ladies no matter what the social situation. What’s even better, the etiquette class came at a huge request from our students! That’s pretty awesome!
Lastly, a special congratulations goes out to Mr. Sutton, our Site Assistant, for getting married on Friday. We wish him much success and a lifetime of happiness as he enters a new and exciting chapter of his life. As always, lots of new things are happening here at CAMS, and we hope you all stop in to check us out sometime. We’d love to see you!
