On Wednesday, April 23, the Carman-Ainsworth middle school guidance and counseling department held its annual Career Fair that involved 16 professionals from Genesee County. The purpose was to teach students about different career possibilities and the education needed to pursue those careers. Each student attended four workshops that highlighted a specific career. Speakers included a police officer, naturalist, graphic artist, engineers, food service workers, railroad employee, occupational therapist, firefighter, emergency medical technician and more. It was a great learning experience and was very enjoyable for our students and staff.
