Big MO Competes at Michigan FRC State Championship
Carman-Ainsworth FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition®) Team 314 is one step closer to competing for a world championship by qualifying for the Michigan FRC State Championship this week.
Team 314 Big MO qualified for a spot to compete at the Michigan FIRST Robotics Competition State Championship which is going to be held at Saginaw Valley State University – Ryder Center on April 11 – 14, 2018.
Big MO generated 36 points during their first tournament and also won the Quality Award sponsored by Motorola Solutions Foundation. They picked up an additional 45 points during their second district tournament and won the Innovation in Control Award sponsored by Rockwell Automation, giving them a total of 81 points.
The team currently sits in 95th place, out of 508 FRC teams in the state. They have a chance this weekend to continue moving up the ranks at the tournament for a chance to compete at the FIRST Championship in Detroit.

The team’s goal is to qualify for the FIRST® Championship April 25 – 28, 2018, at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan.
