Carman-Ainsworth High School is proud to offer several courses in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department, with exciting programs which feature:

Depending on the student’s interests, skills, and educational development plan (EDP), he/she can choose from the following CTE courses when planning their high school 4-year plan:

· Business Management Administration I, II, and III
· Design and Build
· Drafting and Design Technology
· Interior Design
· Life Management
· Marketing I and II
· Medicine and Health Care I and II
·Nutrition and Wellness
· Parenting I and II
·Personal Finance
· Pre-Engineering Design/Machine Drafting
·Relationships
·Web Design
·Woodworking I, II, and III
·Community-Based Learning – Co-op, Pre-Co-op, and Internships

Students and parents can also contact Kim Confer, Career and Technical Education Coordinator at 810-591-5538 or speak with any high school counselor. Registration for these classes will begin February 18^th at the high school and continue through March 11^th. 

CTE courses are open to all 10-12^th graders who meet the academic pre-requisites.
