The Carman-Ainsworth Athletic Hall of Fame will welcome its Class of 2013 into membership on Saturday, October 26 at the Holy Redeemer Family Life Center on Bristol Road. Social hour will be held from 4:30- 5:30 p.m., with dinner catered by Italia Gardens at 5:30 p.m. and program to follow.

Individuals being honored include 1983 Ainsworth High School Track and Cross Country star Jim Featherston; 1982 Ainsworth High School State Champion wrestler and football star Scott Savoie; 1977 Carman High School three sport star in track, speedball, and volleyball Mona Wirostek; and 1991 Carman-Ainsworth High School State Champion in Ski Racing and Track, Scott Faculak. In addition, a special service award will be presented posthumously to 1964 Basketball and Football star Louis Schlosser, remembered by many as the number one supporter of athletes in the district for more than forty years.

Teams that will be honored include the 1969 Carman High School football champions and the 1975 Ainsworth High School football Metro Champions. Both of these teams were led by Coach by Gary Cole.
