The CAHS Robotics Team “Da Peeps” won 2 awards on January 5th at a competition held in Ohio. The team won the Robot Finalist Award as well as the Connect Award. The Connect Award honors the team that best connects with their community and with professionals in the areas of science and technology. The team qualified to compete at the Ohio Championship tournament to be held on February 16th. Teams from Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania took part in the competition. Da Peep’s robot stood above all the others when it successfully lifted another robot 21 inches above the ground.
