Randels’ Halloween Parade

Randels’ Halloween festivities went great! The students had so much fun parading in their costumes.

Dillon’s Halloween Hike

Friday, October 27th Dillon Parent Club celebrated Halloween with their Annual Halloween Hike. Students came dressed for a morning of hiking the halls and collecting treats along the way. Classes also held parties. A big thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to help, we can’t do it without them.

Mrs. McDaniels Halloween Week

Mrs. McDaniels’s kindergarten class celebrated the week of Halloween starting with science. Then they had slime day. Ending the week with their Halloween party.

October Art

Mr. Huff would like to share some of the great things that took place in the Art Room at Randels Elementary this October. This past month we looked at the famous Artist Alma Thomas and created mosaics using painted paper inspired by her work. We looked at the work of Jen Stark and created our own drip-designed artworks. We learned about Tints, tones, and shades as we painted some monochromatic pumpkins. We also created some Zentangle pumpkins. We explored how to make textures in clay when we made our clay Dragon Eyes. And then we also had fun on Fridays where we explored fiber arts and painted plaster sculptures. We are all looking forward to the next time we meet for Art!

Dye Parents as Partners Dinner & Conversation Night

We want to thank our Dye Elementary families who attended Title I Parents as Partners dinner and conversation. It was a fun night where parents had the opportunity to get a glimpse of the day and the life of their student at school. Dinner was served, and the night ended with a raffle drawing!
