Dye Parents as Partners Dinner & Conversation Night
We want to thank our Dye Elementary families who attended Title I Parents as Partners dinner and conversation. It was a fun night where parents had the opportunity to get a glimpse of the day and the life of their student at school. Dinner was served, and the night ended with a raffle drawing!
Dye Elementary Family Math Night
Dye families spent an evening having fun with math! The Sloan/Longway staff brought a gym full of math activities for students to explore with their families. Our elementary math coordinator, Mrs. Wolsker, was also here to answer parents’ questions about our math curriculum and homework.
Our next family learning event at Dye is scheduled for December 12. We hope to see you there!
Dye Elementary Kindergarten Round-Up!
Dye Elementary welcomed our new kindergarten students at a Round-Up Open House! We can’t wait for our new Dye students to join us in the fall.
Dye Science Night 2019
The Sloan/Longway staff returned to Dye for another outstanding science night. This time we focused on older elementary students with activities and experiments designed specifically for our third, fourth, and fifth-grade students. It was a great night filled with learning, fun, and pizza!
Dye Students Reading Month
Dye students had lots of fun during March is Reading Month! These students are participating in a school-wide book swap.
Volunteers Needed at Dye Elementary
The last few months of the school year hold many challenges for the teachers and staff responsible for all of the fun end-of-year activities we do! The color run, the track meet, field day; these are some of the special things our students will always remember.
We need help from our parents and grandparents!
There will be a sign up sheet in the office starting April 19th for anyone that has a few hours to help with one of the above mentioned days.
It could be as easy as handing out popsicles, helping to supervise a three-legged race, or just helping to tie a little ones shoes!
Please be a part of our extended Dye Family!
