Fifth Graders at Dye Celebrate Reading Month
Dye 2nd Graders Paint a Mural at Patsy Lou’s
Second grade students in Ms. Estis class joined Ms. McGinnis from Dye Elementary, in creating an outstanding mural inside Patsy Lou’s Mega-Lot, children’s room. It depicts a huge American Flag that symbolizes the old brick street of Flint and a timeline of automobiles. It shows the first automobiles through the war effort, and ends with the autos driving toward the new (real autos) in the showroom. Another wall displays one of the arches that spanned across Saginaw Street, downtown flint, along with the symbol of Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC.
