Flint Institute of Music Visits Randels
The Flint Institute of Music visited Randels on Monday with another wonderful performance by the Troubadors. Students enjoyed the interactive concert and lesson about “The Hero in You!”
Dye Elementary Family Math Night
Dye families spent an evening having fun with math! The Sloan/Longway staff brought a gym full of math activities for students to explore with their families. Our elementary math coordinator, Mrs. Wolsker, was also here to answer parents’ questions about our math curriculum and homework.
Our next family learning event at Dye is scheduled for December 12. We hope to see you there!
Dillon Elementary Title I Family Math Night
Dillon families spent a fun evening exploring math activities with the Sloan/Longway staff. Mrs. Wolsker, the District Elementary Math Coordinator, was available to talk with parents about the elementary math curriculum and Everyday Math. Families enjoyed dinner and left with math tool kits and free books. Our next Title I night is scheduled for December 5.
Second Grade Reader’s Theater at Randels
Second-grade Randels students in Mrs. Gomez’s class held a Reader’s Theater. They invited their parents to watch and put on a terrific performance!
Randels HAL Students Present Their Inventions
Randels HAL students had the chance to present their inventions in an exhibition format on Thursday. They all did an amazing job!
