Dye Elementary Recycles Paper

shutterstock_84500002Please help support our program and put your used newspapers, magazines and school papers into our paper retriever outside in our parking lot. We have a 5th grade club that helps with this effort, it also helps the students understand  the benefits of recycling.

Our school earns money on this paper that can be used for textbooks, sports equipment, field trips, and other projects. So please remember to recycle your paper at our school.

Congratulations Dye Spelling Bee Winners

Rankin Cross Topic Lesson!

Kids in fourth grade at Rankin used standard measure to measure the elements required for making French Bread. We wrote step by step directions so we could make more dough in our future. We also broke down the elements in water (Hydrogen2 & oxygen), needed in the bread making process. We had fun eating our cross curricular lesson. These were skills we could really sink our teeth into.

Calling all Stars

StarsWhen a student does something GREAT! We like to do a good news phone call home and they get their name on the board! Black stars are for the first marking period and the red stars are for second marking period! We can’t wait to see how many we get this marking period!
