Dye Elementary Students Raise Money During their Annual Read-A-Thon
Thank you to all the students who participated in the annual Read-A-Thon on Saturday, March 9th. The students joined Ms. Baker to read while raising money for the Dye Book Giveaway. They pledged to read for 4 hours, stopping periodically to receive their raffle prizes. The students raised $550.00. The big winner was Kennedy Moore. Way to go Dye Bulldogs!
For-Mar Nature Representative Teaches Dillon Students about the Food Chain and Much More!
For-Mar Nature Preserve sent Karen Palmer to Dillon Elementary to teach third grade students about the food chain, clean habitats and she even brought a Salamander they could touch! This was such a great interactive program! The students learned so much with hands on activities and discussions!

Tuesday, March 19 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Come join us for this wonderful event of the ABC’s of Learning! A free dinner will be offered and the family is invited to join us! Come see your child’s work displayed in the hallways, play games, do activities and crafts. There will be drawings for numerous freebies too! Come see that learning reallyis as easy as A-B-C!

Dillon Elementary Celebrates Reading Month by Honoring Dr. Seuss’ Birthday!
Students had a great time taking part in Dr. Seuss themed activities and making Cat in the Hat crafts! Remember March is reading month, celebrate by reading with your child ever night.
