CAHS Ski Trip Information
C-A ski trip will take place on Saturday, January 11th. Transportation will be provided by exclusive travel to Mt. Holly ski resort. The cost of the one day excursion is $75 and covers transportation, rental of ski’s, helmet and lift ticket. This will be a fun-filled day for all to enjoy. Payment is due by January 6th to Mr. Clingman in the form of cash or money order made to C-A HS. Please see Mr. Clingman for more info.

College Application Week
The week of November 5th was College Application Week at the High School. Guidance counselors and college representatives were available to help students apply to the college of their choice. We are committed to making sure every student has the opportunity and resources to pursue education after high school, especially during the College Application process.
We had contact with 102 high school seniors during College Application week and we have prepared approximately 200 collage applications due to this process. We contacted students that had not applied to college yet and encouraged them to do so.
Carman Ainsworth Alumni Clinton Scruggs and Brandon Townsend stopped into help the seniors. It was a terrific experience for all involved. This helps lift the pressure for students and parents of the application process. Many Michigan Colleges waived their application fee during this week.

CAHS Semi-Final Game: Information You Need
This Saturday, November 23rd the C-A Cavalier football team will go against the Clarkston Wolves in the MHSAA Semi-Final game that will be held at Lake Orion HS starting at 1:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased until Friday at the high school from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Tickets can be purchased from Mr. Pickett, greeter, or in the Athletic Office.) Cost per ticket is $6.00 per person – Child to Adult. Children in the arms of an adult are the only ones who are not charged – MHSAA rule.
Directions to Lake Orion HS
I-75 south to Exit 81 (M-24/1-75 BL/Lapeer Exit, toward Pontiac). Merge onto M-24 N/Lapeer Road via the ramp on the left toward Lapeer. Turn right onto E. Scripps Road. E.
