Hamlet inspired Peeps Show titled, “Swear. Swear by my peep!” and “The Death of Peep-lonius”.
STEM Showcase Event
Stop by Carman-Ainsworth High School on Tuesday, April 30 from 5:30-7:30pm to learn more about STEM! CA elementary, middle school and high school state champion (and world competition bound) robotics teams will be available for demonstrations. Get a tour of the Design and Build classroom, watch robots throw frisbees and make basketball shots, operate and drive a robot and more!
Free food will also be available in the cafeteria from 5:30-6pm.
Please let the building office know if you will be attending this event by April 26th.
Post Grad Tickets go on Sale May 30th
Post Grad Tickets will be on sale outside the office on May 30th during cap & gown pick up. Tickets are $20 at this time. Early purchase incentive: Each student who purchases a Post Grad ticket on May 30th will have their name entered in to a drawing for a gift card valued at $100.00.
CAHS Geometry Students Learn the Equation of a Circle
Mr. Standen and Mrs. Thomas’s 3rd hour CAHS Geometry class students are studying the equation of a circle (x-h)2 + (y-k) 2 = r2and then learning how to sketch the circle on the coordinate plane and how to find the center and the radius of the circle based on the equation. Students are demonstrating their knowledge on white boards and then completing practice on additional problems to further their understanding of the concept.
CAHS Student wins Best of the Best 2013
John has excelled in three years of BMA classes at Carman-Ainsworth High School. He also excelled in Web Design classes. John is a member of National Honor Society and the C-A Varsity Soccer Team. His career goal is to become a software developer and possibly own his own software company one day. He will be attending UM-Flint to continue his studies in computer technology. John has been awarded a merit honors scholarship because of his ACT score of 31 and has continued to maintain a 3.9 GPA.
