For Grades 7th thru 12th- Location: CAHS Tennis Courts, 1300 North Linden Road
Beginner Lessons:
- For anyone new or with little tennis experience
- Wednesdays June 24th thru August 5th

Advanced Lessons:
- For students that have JV, Varsity or Club tennis experience
- Tuesday – Thursday June 23rd thru August 6th

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship
Scholarship dollars are available for the 2015/16 Fall/Winter Semesters; the Planning Committee of the Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Tribute Dinner is offering two $1,000 scholarships to Genesee County area seniors. Below is a link to the scholarship criteria and scholarship application; application is due no later than July 15, 2015.
Immunization Clinics For Genesee County
Immunization Clinic available for all residents of Genesee County. Schedule your appointment by calling 810-237-4588. Next clinic will be held on August 12, 2015 from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Flushing Early Childhood Center, 409 Chamberlain, Flushing MI 48433. Immunizations are provided by Genesee County Health Department Staff.

Commencement
June 4, 2015
- Mandatory Commencement Practice – 9:30 a.m. Perani Event Center – 3501 Lapeer Rd, Flint, MI
- NO EXCUSES – if you do not attend, you do not walk!
- Commencement – 7:00 p.m.
- Perani Event Center – 3501 Lapeer Rd, Flint, MI
- Students report no later than 6:15 p.m. – lower level
- PARKING – $5 per car
COMMENCEMENT EXPECTATIONS
- Dress Expectations – Appropriate Dress
- Males: Dress shirts, dress slacks, dress shoes (No T-shirts, jeans, tennis shoes, or beach sandals)
- Females: Appropriate length dresses, skirts, or dress slacks, dress shoes (No T-shirts, jeans, tennis shoes, or beach sandals/flip flops)
- This is a ceremony! Demonstrate pride, class, and dignity
- Please do not have side conversations, nor yell out names
- Noise makers or signs of any kind prohibited
- Nothing can be placed/painted on the caps other than the provided tassel
- Parents are not allowed in the staging area
- Photos (one free picture, order forms available through the mail)
- The only allowed cords, stoles are for Carman- Ainsworth events only such as NHS, Student Council, Honors Cords
- No other cords, décor, stoles are allowed for Honors or Graduation.
Post Graduation Party
- A fantastic and safe way to spend time with your classmates after graduation.
- Tickets on sale June 2nd during cap and gown pick-up for $20 and at lunches from now through May 19 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Tickets will be available the night of the Post-Grad Party from 10:00-11:30 p.m. for $25.
- This is a lock-in. Students will not be released until morning.

- Seniors receiving honors cumulative GPA 3.0-4.0 will be recognized

- Cap and Gown Distribution – 1:45 Cafeteria
- All fines must be paid in full – take care of ahead of time in Media Center!
- JOSTENS – pay directly!
- Honors Assembly – 6:00 p.m.
- Seniors wear Caps & Gowns -( iron or steam wrinkles)
- Dress up – clothes
- Arrive no later than 5:30
